College Degrees

I do not want this to seem like a rant or like I am speaking negative about the University I attend because I love my school even though tuition is high.

This blog is directed towards anyone who is furthering their education in order to obtain a degree. Whatever degree a person is trying to obtain this pertains to them. Okay, I am not saying I am a perfect writer or that I am a perfect student, or that I am the smartest person in the world. Well, I should say I do believe I am the smartest person that has ever existed in this world besides those who invented medicine, cars, boats, airplanes, computers, cellphones, house phones, toilets, toilet paper, disposable feminine pads, disposable baby diapers, sinks, face wash, shampoo, MAKEUP, etc. etc.

As a student I see students who are lacking writing skills or even thinking skills and most of these students are students who are working to obtain their MASTERS degree, unbelievable! I frown at this because I only have a High School Diploma and useless Associates Degree and I can't get a good job. I got paid more when I only had a High School Diploma than now that I also have an Associates Degree. I am trying to obtain my Bachelors Degree and for what? So that others who did not place and put their best efforts in school, yet managed to pass with a 4.0 because teachers thought their work was great even when the grammar and structure of the essays was HORRIBLE, can get a good paying job? Anyways, my point is that just because a person has a college degree it does not mean they are smarter than someone who did not obtain a degree.

I sometimes look at jobs which I believe I am highly qualified for and am never even considered as a candidate to be employed, maybe because I wear glasses and am kind of, if not a lot, very ugly?

Yes, I blame it on my non-attractive physical appearance. Yes, I think it is just luck. Some people just get lucky, you have to be at the right place and the right time and you have to know how to convince the people that are going to hire you even if you will eventually end up being the worse employee the company has ever had. While I, the best employee they would ever had is stuck with a minimum wage job.
