Why Be a Gig Economy Worker? (App gig work)

Why be an app gig economy worker?

Same as with any job - it is a job.

Jobs help us pay our bills in this world where everything is run by money.

However, by being a gig economy worker we are our own bosses as we are independent contractors.
When we are independent contractors we have to keep up with our expenses and our total earnings so we can pay our share of taxes at the end of the year or quarterly, whichever applies to you.

Beside the above mentioned, we provide a service to the busy evolving world. Not only do we help provide a service to the busy world, but we are able to help people enjoy their life. A person can be at a doctors appointment or at a birthday party while they have someone shop for them and have the groceries waiting at their door when they arrive home from their long wait at the doctors office or that amazing birthday party. We are able to take hot food to a family whom has a broken down vehicle or simply decided to order some pizza from a different pizza place and not the usual pizza joint and have mom or dad rest from cooking dinner. We give rides to people whom do not have the support of family and/or friends to give them rides from point A to point B, to those that do the right thing and not drive drunk after having several drinks or just simply need a ride, no explanation needed.

Aprender Idiomas

[QUICK FOOD] EASY QUICK ENCHILADAS

EASY QUICK ENCHILADAS

After errands, work, errands, and  commuting back home I am left with little time to cook. I still want something delicious to eat.

One of my quick meals is ENCHILADAS. These enchiladas are done my way and not anybodies way.

First:
I get some fresh cheese and crumble it into pieces.
I dice onion and mix onion with the cheese.
No cups or measurers, just make as much as you like. To either feed yourself or a a crowd.

I boil Chile Guajillo. A red, dried chile.
I boil as much as I like. Use a little bit of Guajillo or use a lot to make a lot of red sauce.

After a few minutes or when I see that the chiles are soft. I wash them with cold water and open them up and take the seeds out.

I put the chiles in a blender with salt and cummin powder. I add a little bit of water to make the chiles/peppers blendable. I add a little bit more until the peppers become a thick red paste. Not too thick, but not watery.

I put some oil in a non-pan on a turned on stove and wait until the oil is hot. I put a tortilla in the oil until it is a little bit fried. Just a little bit, where it is still bendable to roll up or if the oil is hot enough you can just bathe the tortilla in the hot oil.

I put the tortillas on a plate and pour the red sauce on them and cover the tortillas completely or I dip the tortillas inside the red paste to cover them completely.

I put cheese on top of the tortilla covered in red sauce and roll up the tortilla.

I do this for all the tortillas.

Then I cover with more fresh cheese or with Monterrey cheese.

I cut up tomatoes and lettuce and add it to the side of my enchiladas.

I also fry cubed potatoes and add them to the side.

Savile Aloe Vera and Chile Shampoo and Conditioners

I only recommend what I love and I love this shampoo. This Mexican shampoo supposely stimulates scalp which allows vitamins and minerals to get to your hair and facilitate hair growth. Helps hair not to break easily by preventing split ends, and hair loss. I love it because it is affordable and does not dry hair out on my already dry hair like other cheap shampoos.

Clothing When We Die and Come Back as Ghost. Ropa Cuando Moremos y Regresamos Como Fantasmas.

When people die do they take their clothing with them?? Like when people say they see a ghost they say the ghost has 1800's or early 1900's clothing. Does that mean if we are ghost we will appear with the clothing we used to wear during the time we where alive?? Or is it chosen for us? 😂

Violence in the World. Violencia en el Mundo.

I was thinking of how there is so much violence in the world and some countries have more violance than others, but all have some type of violence. Most of the violence in the most dangerous countries include: kidnapping, homicides, extortion, robbery, rape, terrorism, human trafficking, and drug trafficking related violence. Most of the dangerous countries are found in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Most of the countries with mayor violence have low economies and unstable government so therefore their civilians escape to other countries both legally and illegally as long as they can escape. The thing about escaping a country got me thinking about how many people escape a dangerous or poverty-ridden country, but what happens to the ones that stay and the ones that will soon be born and will live in that dangerous or poverty filled country and live a miserable or fearful life? Why dont the governments of those countries try to do something about creating an atmosphere that will create peace and justice within its civilians and increase forms of income or government help for those that are struggling so that there is no need to escape. Even politicians escape their own country instead of trying to make it better. Civilians are doomed because in any country we as civilians usually dont have a say as to what goes on in our country. We can vote, but we really dont have a say. We can type and say all we want, but nothing we type or say will be done so we have to depend on politicians. I wonder about why can't people think about our future on Earth in our country and try to make it better instead of escaping it(politicians) and doing nothing about it. I wonder more because what if reincarnation is true :D and we die in a great country such as mine(USA) :) and then we are born say in Nigeria or Somalia and we are kidnapped and tortured and our daughters stolen as sex slaves and our sons beheaded "just because" and it would not be a random ocurrence, but a day-to-day happening that we can't escape unless we immigrate to another country. Is that life? Always having to fear something will happen to us(every country has violence, but I am talking about the countries with extreme violence) and on top of that we have nothing to eat and no solution but to starve or wait to see if some Christian missionaries come and feed us some bowls of oatmeal donations?

Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strenghten & Grow Shampoo

So I went to Walgreens to buy something so I could get my bonus points. Really good marketing because I want to get my points so I go buy when I dont need something! The benefit though is that I discover products that I would have never bought or never heard of or never seen. On my last Walgreens visit I purchased Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strenghten & Grow Shampoo.

I can't believe this I had been missing out on this great product. I have really dry, burnt, brittle, thin hair. I straighten my hair everyday as it is curly and not the cute curly, but the curly that looks like I just woke up no matter what I do. My hair is always hard and rough. Since I started using this shampoo my hair feels soft. Usually when I straighten my hair, my hair is rough, but now it feels soft and manageable. It does not feel like it is damaged or burnt. Even when I do not straighten my hair now it looks soft and my curls look bouncy!

This shampoo as stated on the bottle was specially created to bring relief to damaged, brittle, over processed and color treated hair. Straightening, perming or any other style treatment which uses heat, drains hair of natural moisture leaving your curls or coils dry, brittle and prone to breakage.

I have issues growing my hair and this shampoo is fortified with Jamaican Black Castor Oil which is rich in essential fatty acids that nourish the scalp and stimulates hair follicles and encourages hair growth. The castor oil also helps streghten my weak hair! Now I do not have to be applying any heavy oils on my hair to try to make it grow. That is why actually I do not put castor oil on my hair. I tried once and it weighted down my hair, but in this shampoo the castor oil does not weigh down the hair. Matter of fact it provides volume.

This shampoo also is mixed with Peppermint, Apple Cider Vinegar, which help remove product build up from your hair, and Shea Butter that helps to hydrate hair.

This shampoo cost 10.99 at Walgreens, sometimes they have the buy one, get one half price special. Very well worth the price.

Printer on Sale. Impresora En Oferta

ESPANOL:

Originally $99 this printer, Brother HLL2305W Laser Printer, is on sale for $25 in all Walmarts. Check inventory in the store nearest you.

It's a 10 - My Walgreens Purchase. Es Un 10 - Mi Compra de Walgreens

ENGLISH:
So if anyone remembers I have discovered an awesome hair product for curly, dry, brittle, burnt, thin hair like mine. I purchased the regular miracle leave in product for about $20 with tax. So I decided I should get the one with Keratin. It's a 10 is never on sale from my experience. At Ulta you cant use coupon codes on this brand so right now at Walgreens.com they have a 20% off coupon. Twenty percent might not be much, but I will take my 20 percent off anytime that is $7.20 in my pocket. Ok so on my purchase I got 12,000 in rewards back that is approximately $12 to use on my future purchase!! I use my points to buy packs of water, milk, or diapers whenever I have is quarters and nickles or when my credit card is declining. When you use points you just pay the difference after you apply the points. :) So basically with the points I got for my future purchase you can say my new 10 oz hair product cost me $16.80 before tax. Yay me!

ESPANOL:
Yay me!

Trying to Steal My Buggy.

I just went to the grocery store and left my cart with my groceries and my bag on the car seat. I saw a man behind me when I was leaving my buggie and I told myself that if he was going to pass there was enough space for him to pass so I left my cart where it was then I see this man start pushing my cart and he pretends like nothing happened and keeps walking and walked for a while with my cart so I start running towards my cart and I take it away from him and he says I am sorry I just wanted to move the cart and I said that is fine and kept walking. No this man was not trying to move my cart he wanted to steal my bag beacuse he was not buying anything he was just walking around the store. I got scared because I had my truck keys, cell, my credit card that I could have cancelled if he took it but everything I had in the cart was for my babies so it was important to buy it at that moment. 🤔😔

What Are Real Tacos? Que Son Tacos de Verdad?

People always argue about what is a "real taco." People say Taco Bell, Taco Casa, and Jack-in-the Box tacos are not real tacos. To me a taco is a taco. Does not matter if the tortilla is soft, cruchy, toasted, burnt. Does not matter if it has ground beef, "fajita", chicken, pastor, barbacoa, eggs, potatoes, or whatever. To me a real taco is something that I can grab with my hand, chew it, taste a flavor I like and then comes out of my body like other real food. Like are there really fake tacos? Maybe a toy taco? :D We can't argue about what is real food especially if something is good. What I think is good might not be good to others, but thank God for tacos. :D :D

Foundation Pigment Drops. Gotas de Pigmento Para Base de Maquillaje.

I have a tendency to always buy the wrong foundation color. I always have ghost face because I will wear an IVORY color on my TAN skin because I do not want the foundation to go to waste. 😜😜😜😜. Not no more thanks to Pigment Drops I can mix a few drops in the foundation to make it more my color! I love these pigment drops from Hard Candy because with just a few little drops I make all my wrong color foundations into new foundation without having to buy more plus it also makes foundation that is not smooth -- smoother! It also makes foundation that is not full coverage -- fuller coverage!

Crease Brushes from WetnWild.

I love these crease brushes from WetnWild they are sooo cheap costing only one dollar. There are much better quality crease brushes out there including our Acti-Labs crease blender (check it out for yourself), but for the price these brushes are excellent.

Crease brushes/blenders are ideal to shape, contour, and blend in the eyelid crease area and outer corner of your eye. Ideal for softening the lines between shades and edges.

Use a crease brush all over the eyelid and crease when you want the shadow to look soft, not too pigmented, and blended.

Or use a packing brush or your clean finger to pack shadow onto your lid and use the crease brush to blend the outer areas around the crease.

Consistency is Key

Consistency is key.

When applying an anti-aging cream on your face, you have to apply the cream daily, to see results - be consistent.

When applying a skin brightener you have to apply daily to continue to get those brightening effects - be consistent.

To loose weight you have to keep your diet routine - keep consistent.

When exercising to lose weight or to tone up you have to do it daily or have a routine, and just keep consistent.

When selling something or having your own business you have to be consistent.

If you want to succeed in anything you do in life consistency is key.

Effective Communication

Not everyone is born with the skill to communicate effectively in any environment, however it is a skill anyone can learn. Being able to communicate effectively allows an individual to be better off in places such as that of the work place. There are steps into being able to communicate effectively in the workplace and the first step is to listen to those that surround us. Those that surround us might be co-workers, people offering their services, or people we are offering our service to. When we listen and concentrate on what others have to say we are able to figure out how the other person feels about things related to the business, the process of doing things, or the service. In order to understand we have to concentrate and stay patient while the person speaks without being biased or judgmental in our thoughts towards the person. Of course, the customer or the person we are listening or communicating with might be wrong, but we have to find a solution in order to be effective in providing the correct and needed information. Providing the correct and needed information might make the other person view things differently and maybe even the same way as we envision.
When it comes time to express our information we have to be confident with what we are saying even if it is told to an individual or to an audience. In order to express ourselves with confidence we must speak in a tone of voice that can be heard, of course it does not mean it has to be a screaming voice, but a tone clear and loud enough to be heard especially in situations were there is an audience or group of people listening. The words that are used need to be to the point without any extra irrelevant information that might be unnecessary to what is to be expressed or needed to be understood. Also in order for that communication to be effective the details and information must be correct and without any erroneous information. In order to be consistent every time we are communicating we must be honest and provide a language that is easy to understand or believable and free of slang words without taking great pauses while using sounds or words of uncertainty.
Also when we communicate in order for that communication to be effective we must not give information that we are uncertain about which in the long run can turn into greater issues because erroneous information was provided. If there is something left pending or unresolved then we can go back and try to give an update of our resolution or our lack of results. No matter what the issue is we must show respect to others without judging their personality or bringing forward stereotypes since we might and will be dealing with very distinct people. In order to resolve the issues we must understand the perspectives of others and also provide assistance at all times or when needed and even show appreciation to show a sincere practice that others will find stable, honest, and reliable and and in turn there will be a positive relationship between (in this case) the business and the customer thanks to effective communication.

A day without ANY IMMIGRANTS...

Continuacion a mi publicacion anterior.. Continuation to my previous post... I THINK that a day without Mexicans is a waste of time, especially when they say the "event" it will PARALIZE the country. Saying that the country will PARALIZE is an exageration. However, if you invite ALL immigrants in the United States, their children, and all the people that support the MULTICULTARIZATION of the country to not open up their business, to not go to stores, to not drive, to not go anywhere then there maybe the country would PARALIZE. Especially if Middle Easteners and Asian people closed their businesses since most businesses I have seen they are the owners. :D We would not have a place to buy gasoline so we wouldnt be able to make it to work or buy baby formular por our babies, nor wipies, nor would we be able to go to the chainis buffet... :o :( 55 MILLION HISPANICS AND THEIR CHILDREN, 10 MILLION MIDDLE EASTENERS AND THEIR CHILDREN, 17 MILLION ASIANS AND THEIR CHILDREN, ETC.,(82,000,000 PLUS) AND 65,844,610 PEOPLE THAT VOTED AGAINST TRUMP.

Un DIA SIN MEXICANOS no PARALIZARA el Pais...A DAY WITHOUT MEXICANS will not PARALIZE the country.

I think a day without Mexicans is a waste of time, especially when they say the "event" it will PARALIZE the country. In the United States there are 55 million Hispanics (Mexicans, Salvadorens, Hondurans, Cubans, etc.) that includes legal and illegal. In total there are approximately 318.9 million people in the United States. Lets say that 55 million Hispanics do not contribute to the economy on February 16. They would have already contributed to the ecnomy days before so that they would not be out of the necesities that will be needed on the 16th, so it comes out to be the same thing - they already contributed to the economy. Another thing, if they do not go out an contribute to the economy, the business that lose are hispanic run businesses. Hispanic people usually use or go to businesses where the owner is hispanic. Children loose because they will not be learning the days curriculum and will be behind on lessons. If they do not ho to work then there is no money to pay rent, buy food, or diapers. Then one is basically reducing income coming into the home. If 55 million people do not contribute, the country does not lose anything because there are 263,900,000 people left over that are going to contribute to the country, that are going to study, that are going to spend money. Then saying that the country will PARALIZE is an exageration.

Syria has been in a civil war for the last 5 years. Then I see images of people that have died, have been hurt, or are fleeing and have children younger than 5 years. Then I s tart thinking if they know they are in war why do they bring more children to the world? Then I start thinking this world is full of bad things. One that is not living in a country with an active civil war we live in a world full of daily dangers...diseases, natural disasters, violence of all types, accidents of all type, tensions between countries, poverty, scarceness of water and food, etc...an knowing that bad things happen we still keep bringing more human beings to the world.

Harajuku Lovers Perfume - Glossybox

So I received this Harajuku Lovers perfume in my December Glossy it smells so good. I like how it smells fresh and clean. It is the EleCtric Pop scent. It is not a full size as I originally thought it is .05 fl oz so that is like a $25 dollar value. The scent only last while you spray it and lingers after your spray it so it is basically a body spray. This perfume definitely would be my go to scent.

By the way I love GLossybox.

Clinique, Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup

Again, it was my first time ever buying Clinique foundations. I bought different Clinique foundations at the same time. On this particular foundation, Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup, there were not that many color options. So I selected the second color on the list because they all looked dark. The color I selected was the color "Beige." Ugh. When I received my foundation and opened it the bottle looked super dark, my skin tone is of a medium color. The foundation looked too brown somewhat of a bronzer. I poured some on top of my hand and it was darker than my skin color. I tried to make it work and wore it two days ago on my face. It blended nicely in my skin just that I looked dirty from my face and somewhat older. I notice that when I wear darker foundation I tend to look older.
I will not be buying again as there are not really not many color options and the first color on the list before "Beige" looks too dark as well. Today, I mixed this foundation with Estée Lauder, Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in Cream Vanilla that was too white for me. I think I will use both foundations together this month as this Clinique foundation has a light, creamy, non-cakey, blendable feeling and the other brand is super maximum coverage and cakey on my face. This foundation I recommend you buy if you are mixing it with a foundation that makes your face look cakey no matter what you do and you do not want to discard.

Clinique, Even Better Makeup SPF 15
http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/clinique-even-better-makeup-spf-15-1-oz?ID=373904

Last week was my first time ever buying Clinique foundations. I bought different Clinique foundations at the same time. On this particular foundation, Even Better Makeup SPF 15, 1 oz, I chose a random color because the colors on the Macy's website are not in order from light to dark and are all over the place when selecting a color. I chose one that did not look to light nor too dark because all I know is I have a medium skin tone. I do not know about undertones and all that other skin tone stuff. So the color I selected was Porcelain Beige. When I received the foundation I immediately poured some on the top of my hand and spread it/blended it in. The color matched the skin on my hand and did not accentuate the lines in my hands! It blended quickly as if my skin absorbed it. The next day I applied it on my face. I do not use blenders nor brushes I actually use my fingers and omg it looked like the foundation was disappearing from my face. My face did not looked caked!!! The foundation seemed to disappear, but in a good way. This has never, ever happened to me with foundations. The foundation actually made the skin on my face look even. I felt beautiful lol. Loveeeed this foundation.
Yesss, I recommend this product.

Trump and Racism with Hate.

The advantage that Trump was elected for president is that it came to light that there is a lot of racism with HATE. Well it has always been known...like when I have gone to towns with majority anglo population they stare at you like you are from another world or when you walk into a business they stay quiet and do not greet you with the same greeting they give to the rest of the people entering the business. Sometimes we feel or felt so sure that we are accepted in our own country but it is not that way... :(

Unsolved Crime - 6/17/2015

6/17/2015

"On June 17, 2015, Harris County Deputies responded to a call of a shooting, located in the 14900 block of Sellers Rd, in Harris County, in reference to a male found shot to death in his car in the middle of the roadway. Deputies arrived and found the male victim shot multiple times. The shooting occurred between 4:30am and 5:00am. Witnesses heard gunshots and saw a suspect pick up truck flee the shooting scene."

A day I can never forget. I had drove Sellers Road at about 4:40 am!!! as I was coming back from Humble, Texas and then in one of the dead end streets heading south before getting to the laundromat there was a suspicious white or gray car just parked on the street facing Sellers Road. I am paranoid so I started going really fast so that the car would not follow me and see me turn right on the street I live at. I did not even put a signal light so the car would not know I was turning right. Then around 8:00 am as I was on my way to work the road was closed and I googled what was going on and then there it was someone had been shot. Later in the day I learned it was my brothers friends grandfather. I saw the picture of a little old red car and asked my brother was the car the one that was on the news online and he was like yes that is his car. Then I realized I had previously driven behind this old man. I drove behind him on a Saturday when I was on my way to work. I was running late it was 4:30 am and I had to be there at 4:00 am so I was getting frustrated and passed this little car and saw an old man drinking coffee or something out of a cup. I was like "ughh no wonder he is driving slow because is old..." Since that day I am always scared when I am driving down Sellers in the dark mornings or at night. I always think about what if the person or people that killed this man were on the hunt to kill anyone that was out at that time?? It could have been me as I passed the location he was shot at a few minutes before the incident supposedly happened. Then I think what if the person or people that killed him killed him because they became aggravated because he was driving very slow in front of them as he had done to me on a Saturday when I was on my way to work.

I had to look to see if the case had been solved, but I see it has not so that means the killer is still on the loose. Also I always think about that white or gray car that I saw, but now I can rest as on the report it says witness saw a pickup truck fleeing the scene.
